Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut the pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes, roughly 1-inch in size.
In one bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
In a second bowl, pour in the almond milk.
In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
Dip each tofu cube first into the flour mixture, ensuring it’s well-coated. Shake off any excess flour.
Next, dip the floured tofu into the almond milk, allowing any excess to drip off.
Finally, coat the tofu in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to ensure they stick.
Arrange the breaded tofu bites on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and crispy, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
Remove from the oven and toss the crispy tofu bites in buffalo sauce until well coated.
Return the sauced tofu bites to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes to bake with the sauce.
Once cooked, remove from the oven, garnish with fresh chopped parsley, and enjoy!
Notes
For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs.
