Begin by preparing your workspace. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the pretzel rods from sticking.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
Once the chocolate is melted, hold a pretzel rod by one end and dip it into the chocolate, ensuring it’s coated about two-thirds of the way up. Allow any excess chocolate to drip off.
Sprinkle crushed nuts or colorful sprinkles over the chocolate-coated section of the pretzel while it’s still wet to allow them to adhere.
Place the coated pretzel rod on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat the process with the remaining pretzel rods.
After all the rods are coated, drizzle any remaining chocolate over them or add more sprinkles/nuts as desired.
Finish by sprinkling a tiny pinch of sea salt over the chocolate for an extra flavor boost.
Refrigerate the tray for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm and set.
Once set, remove the pretzel rods from the fridge, and they are ready to be enjoyed!
