Instructions
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).
Add the trimmed asparagus to the bowl and toss until evenly coated with the lemon garlic mixture.
Spread the asparagus in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Roast in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and slightly crispy on the edges.
If desired, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the asparagus in the last 5 minutes of roasting for added flavor.
Remove from the oven and serve immediately. Enjoy your zesty creation!
